Facility Services Manager

Javan Taherkhani oversees BGI’s Facilities Operations vertical at Riot Games and leads a team of facilities professionals to deliver optimal customer services that are designed to exceed the expectations of clients. In addition to his focus on client satisfaction, Javan leads the recruitment, hiring, training, and mentorship of BGI facilities staff across customer service areas such as workplace maintenance & operations, occupancy planning, move management, events, help desk, workflow insights & analytics, and mailroom. Driven by his passion for leadership and mentorship, Javan builds relationships with staff and coaches them to succeed–collectively and individually–with a “grow people and expand skill sets” philosophy to help boost their internal and external professional advancement.

Prior to his embedded role at Riot Games, Javan worked at the intersection of film, technology, and marketing industries at CINIME–an emerging international mobile technology development company–where he facilitated the opening and launch of their Los Angeles office. While there, Javan was tapped to serve as Director of Business Development to leverage his skills in leadership, content development, and B2B relations. During that time, Javan forged strategic partnerships to expand its business footprint domestically, and in key territories such as England, France, Singapore, and Indonesia and grew the company’s Los Angeles staff by 150%.

Earlier in his career, Javan was an entertainment and media professional for 7 years. He worked primarily in the television industry in New York and Los Angeles at prominent entertainment companies, such as Comedy Central, Creative Artists Agency, Media Rights Capital, Entertainment One Entertainment, and Lawrence Bender Productions.

Javan received his education from Claremont McKenna College where he earned a BA in Psychology and Media & Film Studies.
